# Web app

> Find your way around app.major.build: chat, apps, agents, workflows, connectors, and settings.

The Major web app at [app.major.build](https://app.major.build) is where you chat with the [Platform Agent](/build/platform-agent), open and edit what you've built, and manage your organization. Everything you can do from [MCP](/build/mcp) or the [CLI](/build/cli) is also available here.

## Sidebar

| Item | What it's for |
| - | - |
| **Build** | The home page. Start a chat with the Platform Agent to build an app, agent, skill, or workflow, or to ask a question about your data. Members without build access see **Chat** here instead. |
| **Apps** | Every app you can access. Open one to use it or edit it in the [editor](/learn/apps/editor). **Monitoring** under Apps shows runtime [errors](/learn/apps/errors) from deployed apps. |
| **Agents** | The agent library. Open an agent to chat with it or edit it. **Skills** under Agents lists your [skills](/learn/skills/overview). |
| **Workflows** | Your [workflows](/learn/workflows/overview), their triggers, and their run history. |
| **Connectors** | The [connectors](/learn/connectors/overview) configured for your organization. |
| **Analytics** | Organization usage dashboards (admins). The [audit log](/settings/audit-log) sits under it. Builders who aren't admins see **Audit log** on its own. |

Items you don't have permission for are hidden. See [Members & roles](/settings/members-and-roles).

## Chat

Chat is the main way to work in Major. Describe what you want and the Platform Agent plans the work, asks for approval where needed, and builds it. See [Platform Agent](/build/platform-agent).

* **Pinned and recent conversations** appear in the sidebar on the Build page. Pin a conversation to keep it at the top; **See all** opens the full list.
* **Chat with an agent** by opening it from Agents, or by picking it when you start a chat. The chat runs with that agent's prompt, connectors, skills, and [tool permissions](/learn/agents/tool-permissions).
* **Attachments and @ mentions** work in every chat. See [Editor](/learn/apps/editor#images-and-attachments).

## Search

Open the command palette from the search button at the top of the sidebar to jump to any app, agent, workflow, or conversation.

## Settings

Open your account menu at the bottom of the sidebar to reach two areas:

* **Account settings** - your profile, [connected accounts](/settings/connected-accounts), and personal [tool permissions](/settings/tool-permissions).
* **Organization settings** - members, groups and invites, billing and usage, [environments](/learn/apps/environments), [domains](/learn/apps/domains), branding, [models](/settings/models), MCP, API tokens, and GitHub.

The same menu switches between organizations if you belong to more than one.
