# major resource

> Attach connectors to an app and switch its environment from the CLI.

`major resource` controls which [connectors](/learn/connectors/overview) the app in the current directory can reach, and which environment it uses. Run these commands from inside the app's folder.

When you attach resources, the CLI generates local resource clients in your app so your code can call them.

## major resource list

List all resources in your organization, showing which are attached to the current app.

```bash theme={null}
major resource list [flags]
```

## major resource add

Attach a resource to the current app by ID. Use `major resource list` to find IDs.

```bash theme={null}
major resource add --id <resource-id> [flags]
```

| `--json` | Output in JSON format. |

## major resource remove

Detach a resource from the current app by ID. Use `major resource list` to see attached resources.

```bash theme={null}
major resource remove --id <resource-id> [flags]
```

## major resource manage

Pick the app's resources from an interactive list.

```bash theme={null}
major resource manage
```

## major resource create

Open the resource creation page in your default browser.

```bash theme={null}
major resource create
```

## major resource env-list

List the environments available to the app and show which one is selected.

```bash theme={null}
major resource env-list [flags]
```

## major resource env

Show the app's current environment and switch to another one.

```bash theme={null}
major resource env [flags]
```

| `--id` | Environment ID to select without a prompt. |

After switching, run [`major app start`](/reference/cli/app#major-app-start) to use the new environment locally.
